Invisalign

How does it work?
To produce the most accurate outcome, Dr. Thomas will use a computer system
to create your aligners. She will take impressions and digital pictures of
your teeth. The impressions will be used in a three-dimensional computer
imaging program, and will help Dr. Thomas create a series of aligners. The
first set of aligners will fit onto your teeth in their initial position.
Each consecutive set of aligners will act like invisible braces, using
gentle pressure to slowly move the teeth into the desired final position.
It’s as easy as that!
Why Invisalign instead of traditional braces?
The most evident benefit of Invisalign is that you can straighten your teeth
without anyone noticing! Call our office today to schedule a consultation
with Dr. Thomas and we can show you the actual aligners. You will see just
how invisible they are!
The Invisalign system allows improved hygiene over traditional braces.
Because the clear retainers are easily removable, you are able to brush and
floss as you normally would, reducing the chances of possible staining and
decay that often occur with traditional braces. You also don’t have to worry
about the uncomfortable feel of metal brackets against your gums, because
Invisalign is completely metal free! Food and drink choices are less
restrictive, as well. If you wish to eat sticky candy or drink soda, you may
do so after removing your clear Invisalign retainer.
How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
The exact amount you will spend depends heavily on several factors,
including the extent of treatment required and how many aligners need to be
created. Please call our office to make an appointment for a consultation so
we can address the financial options available for you. We will work to make
this affordable to you!
The cost for an average Invisalign treatment totals $4500. With the use of
CareCredit, we can get your payments as low as $89 per month!
Our office also offers 5% off the cost of your treatment if you pay in full
with cash or check at your initial appointment. That’s an average of $225
off your total!
Your dental insurance may cover treatment with Invisalign braces. Most
patients find that their coverage is the same for Invisalign as for other
types of orthodontic treatment. You should inquire directly with your
insurance company to determine whether the cost of Invisalign is fully or
partially covered.
